TGIF Jazz Opportunities

We assume that just about everyone in this region knows about TGIF Jazz in the Parks by now. Either you've been to one of the concerts or have heard about them! They've certainly become a Carlsbad institution.

And the Friends of the Arts are proud to be a major supporter of the TGIF Jazz concerts each year.

We are able to contribute these funds because of our very popular Opportunity Drawings - held during the intermission at each concert. In fact, these drawings have truly become an integral and highly anticipated part of the whole evening's experience!

The Opportunity Drawings are the primary vehicle used by the Friends to raise money to support the programs and activities of the Carlsbad Cultural Arts Office…programs such as the TGIF concerts, the award-winning Three-Part-Art education program for third- and fourth-graders, and the opening receptions for each new exhibition at the William D. Cannon Art Gallery.

We invite your business to participate in these exciting Opportunity Drawings by contributing gift certificates, discount coupons, tickets, or attractive items for the drawings. A gift certificate or discount coupon is a great way to encourage new business!

Whether it's one major prize or 10 smaller ones (one for each concert), your donation is valuable. In return, your name or the name of your business will be:

• printed on the evening's “Prize List" pamphlet
• listed on a “Thank You” page in the 9,000 beautifully designed and widely distributed Souvenir Programs
• listed annually on a “Thank You” page in the Cultural Arts Office quarterly newsletter
• listed here on the CFA website.
